Ab – G# Chords

CHORDS in A flat Ab (G sharp G#) for Guitar with THREE different POSITIONS to be placed in different parts of the fingerboard.

Degrees of the G Sharp A Flat Major Scale

G Sharp (G♯) and A Flat (A♭) are two notes, keys, or enharmonic scales (different names for the same note). The chords of A♭ are shown below, as it is a more used tonality than G♯, but if you need to know the placement of G♯ 7, for example, keep in mind that it is the same chord as A♭ 7.

In the chords we have the position for each finger marked with a number, with the arrangement that appears in the image above.

The red X indicates the string that is not played, and the black numbers mark the string number, starting from the nut.

In the image on the left we have the chord with the notes of which it is composed, plus two additional positions on the right to place in different parts of the fingerboard.
