Major Pentatonic Scale

The Major Pentatonic Scale is made up of only 5 notes, dispensing with the 4th and 7th notes, compared to the diatonic major scale. In reality, it is the same scale, but the fourth and seventh degree are dispensed with, to obtain a simpler and more stable scale, without excessive dissonances that could cause problems when executing an improvisation.

But this does not mean that the major pentatonic scale has stopped being used by the most famous guitarists. On the contrary, since this scale is one of the most popular in contemporary music.

As you can see in the example below, it is one of the easiest scales to use as it has fewer notes, and it sounds really good.
